VAF Tech

The Ultimate Seal of Approval

VAF Přerov, founded in 1999, faced a critical strategic dissonance: 2025 technology trapped in a 1990s brand. Perceived as a local workshop rather than a European partner, the company needed a radical shift.

The challenge was to modernise its visual and verbal language while solving a key operational pain point: filtering out low-volume noise to unlock capacity for high-value B2B partnerships.

The challenge

While the competition moved toward modern corporate standards, VAF stood out, but for the wrong reasons. Frozen in a 1990s aesthetic, its visual presence didn't signal precision engineering, but a local garage workshop. This credibility gap was actively eroding trust: potential clients assumed the manufacturing capabilities were as outdated as the website.

Internally, it created a severe bottleneck. Without a credible digital funnel, the sales team was manually processing hundreds of low-value orders, leaving no capacity to hunt for the major European contracts the factory actually needed.

Creative approach & thinking

We started with a strategic pivot: renaming the company to VAF Tech, stripping away geographical limits, and disrupting the industry's monochromatic palette with a bold magenta. This calculated pattern interrupt ensures instant visibility in a saturated market.

To secure long-term recognition, we engineered a suite of distinctive brand assets. Beyond the primary logo, there is a custom pattern and The Seal, a friendly mascot that humanises the brand and plays on the double meaning of the word to act as a seal of approval. Paired with clever copywriting, these codes build a consistent brand experience with strong mental associations.

Lily is far more than a designer. After Cronex, we trusted her to rethink VAF Tech. She actively engaged our executive team to solve core business bottlenecks. Through her strategic vision, VAF Tech evolved from a local garage into a confident, premium B2B partner. An invaluable asset.
